
Can you guess what this crazy looking thing used to be? Ill give you a hint, it came from a motorcycle...

So a XS650 came into the shop the other day with the following symptoms; no start, and the engine wouldnt do a complete revolution. After dropping the oil pan this is what was found mixed in with the very small amount of oil.... Starting to get any ideas yet?

We then took off the head and found this rolling around in one of the cylinders! Thats right, it used to be a piston.

This is what a completely dismantled XS650 engine looks like. Our suggestion, since the bike as a whole is pretty wrecked, sell what good parts there are left and find another bike to ride.
