The CB750 was a game changer. Our goals for this one were simple: Maintain some of the original look and feel, see how much weight we could take off this baby without loosing any of the nice 'features', make it go faster, make it stop quicker, and make it look good doing it!

The Honda CB750 is an air-cooled transverse in-line four cylinder engine motorcycle made by Honda over several generations for year models 1969-2003 as well as 2007 with an upright or standard riding posture. It is often called the original Universal Japanese Motorcycle (UJM).

The CB750 is included in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Classic Bikes; was named in the Discovery Channel's "Greatest Motorbikes Ever;" was in The Art of the Motorcycle exhibition, and is in the UK National Motor Museum. The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, Inc. rates the 1969 CB750 as one of the 240 Landmarks of Japanese Automotive Technology.

The CB750 was the first motorcycle to be called a "superbike."

This sporty little beast is a barrel of fun to ride. Though, we have been taking it a little easy on her since she just had a fresh rebuild on the motor. We also upgraded the suspension, brakes, electronics and
controls. Come to think of it, we either upgraded, replaced, or repaired
everything on this baby! We wanted to build a unique and fun bike to
ride while still maintaining some of what we consider true 'RD spirit'.

With many custom pieces made of fiberglass or aluminum, not only does it run great but shes quite a bit lighter too. They definitely wont be able to keep up and only way they will be able to find you is to follow that little trail of blue two-stroke perfume down the road. This dirty little chicken came to us by way of a moving sale of sorts. Originally from New Jersey, it somehow made its way out to our neck of the woods and was saved from a salvage yard before finding a space in our shop. It was a non runner and in pretty rough shape when we got her but she was just so damn cute we just couldn't pass her up.

1968 HONDA CB450K1- Project

The Honda CB450 was the first 'big' Honda motorcycle with a 444cc 180° straight twin, dual overhead cam engine producing 43-45 horsepower (more than 100 HP/ liter).

Appearing first in the 1965 four-speed K0 model, and progressing through a series of 'K' models with various improvements and styling changes, notably a redesigned fuel tank and 5 speed transmission in the 1968 K1 model. In Canada the K1 model was marketed as the Hellcat.

The CB450 was first shown in UK during the Diamond Jubilee Brighton Speed Trials of September 1965, traditionally held along the seafront. As the bike was newly imported, the engine was not run-in, so the appearance was a semi-competition demonstration sprint run for publicity ridden by (the late) Allan Robinson, MBE, a Honda staff member, recording a standing-start kilometre time of 30.1 seconds and a terminal speed of 100 mph (160 km/h).
